This policy sets out a person centred care approach that WACHS is committed to providing that will support the delivery of care that is respectful, individualised and empowering when an inpatient chooses to leave the hospital and/or is removed by their parent/carer/responsible person before the completion of treatment against the advice of the treating clinician and a decision is made to discharge.
