The opportunity and challenge for health service providers and decision-makers in a state the size of WA is to address the complex and diverse health needs of widely spread regional, rural, and remote communities. Via our District Health Advisory Councils, the WACHS seeks a relationship with community members, consumers and carers to achieve a two-way exchange so as to better match service delivery to health need and most importantly, the delivery of consistently safe and up-to-date services.
