| Summary |
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance for staff caring for patients on the Albany Acute Psychiatric Unit from their initial assessment to discharge and beyond, in order to effectively address nicotine dependence in a supportive and evidence based manner. All staff have a responsibility for their own health and the health of others on the ward by supporting compliance with this procedure.
