The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is supported by a network of state-wide 24-hour health telephone services that enables people from rural and remote areas to access quality health information, advice and services in a time of need.

Parent Drug Information Service

A 24-hour, confidential telephone service that provides professional information, counselling, referral and advice to anyone concerned about a family member's alcohol or drug use.  Callers can also opt to speak with another parent who has had similar experiences for support & assistance 7 days a week from 8am until 9.30pm.

A 24-hour, seven day- a- week state-wide health advice line. You should always try to contact your regular doctor first. But if they're not available, HealthDirect's experienced nurses will provide immediate professional advice on how urgent your problem is and what to do about it.

Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC)

General media enquiries can be submitted to the WA Country Health Media Coordinator between 8.30am-5pm Monday-Friday via 9223 8755.

Only media enquiries of an emergency nature or where an urgent patient condition report is required will be responded to out of hours and on the weekend.
