Allied Health teams are typically based in regional and district centres across Western Australia, in either a hospital, community, mental health or aged care setting.  Allied health teams provide services to the town in which they reside, as well as outreach services to surrounding communities.

Allied health professionals in the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) provide a full range of services across the continuum of care, from preventative to acute. There are opportunities to work in a specialised field of health care or as a generalist practitioner.
