Additional staff housingA shortage of housing is a significant issue for agencies located in the Pilbara when trying to entice staff to the region. WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is currently working with the Department of Housing's Government Regional Officers Housing to acquire additional housing for staff in Karratha. Enhanced obstetric servicesWACHS Pilbara Region is working with Nickol Bay Hospital staff and King Edward Memorial Hospital to develop and implement a range of initiatives to enhance Nickol Bay Hospital Obstetric Services, including a staff rotation program and a Community Midwifery Service. |
