The $61.4 million investment will build a new facility with:

• twelve inpatient beds
• six emergency department bays
• two dental chairs
• six GP consult spaces
• dedicated rooms for outpatient consults, therapy, medical imaging and pathology.

The redevelopment will also facilitate access to Telehealth services and videoconferencing technology to connect staff and patients to specialists across Western Australia.

Construction commenced in July 2020 with the new facility expected to be completed by late 2022.

The existing facility will remain operational throughout construction.
