Upgrades at Northam Hospital will include a comprehensive and expanded emergency department to provide modern, well-equipped emergency services to the community.  The hospital will also be the hub for community health services including physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, counselling, community health nursing, community mental health and aged care support.

A multi-million dollar series of improvements funded by the Commonwealth will also see better cancer and renal services in Northam.

Construction is currently underway and due for completion by the end of 2018.
