Four-chair dialysis unit opens in Karratha

A $2.3 million four-chair renal dialysis unit has opened at Karratha Health Campus, allowing local residents to access dialysis treatment closer to home.

The four-chair renal dialysis unit is co-located at the Karratha Health Campus giving patients ready access to existing care teams.

The service welcomed its first four patients – all local to the West Pilbara region – in February. It's expected up to sixteen patients will be using the service by later in the year. 

The opening of the Karratha Health Campus renal dialysis unit is part of our ongoing commitment to provide renal dialysis care on country and closer to home.
