2025 National Rural and Remote Health Awards - nominations now open

Nominations are now open for the 2025 National Rural and Remote Health Awards, and we’re calling on country WA to acknowledge the dedication, innovation and impact of those making a real difference in country health.
From frontline professionals to behind-the-scenes administrators and support staff, these awards honour the diverse individuals and teams committed to keeping rural and remote Australians healthy.
Outstanding country clinicians, teams and professionals can be nominated by their peers, colleagues and communities across ten categories including:
- Outstanding Contribution to Rural/Remote Health Access
- Rural/Remote Aged or Disability Carer of the Year
- Excellence in Rural/Remote Health Administration
- Rural/Remote Multidisciplinary Collaboration of the Year
- Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Healthcare
- Rural/Remote Health Professional of the Year
- Rising Star in Rural/Remote Health
- Dedication to Health in a Remote Location
- Rural/Remote Health Innovator of the Year
- Rural/Remote Health Employer of the Year

Presentation of the Awards will take place on Ngunnawal country at the National Press
Club of Australia, in Canberra, on Wednesday 5 November 2025.
