Nominations for the 2026 WA Rural Health Excellence Awards are now open

Every day, across our 2.55 million square kilometre patch, our staff are providing outstanding care for county communities.

Delivered in partnership with Rural Health West, the 2026 WA Rural Health Excellence Awards are an opportunity to celebrate clinicians, professionals, colleagues and peers by nominating them in one of the following;

Aboriginal Health Professional of the Year
Allied Health Professional of the Year
Clinical Leader of the Year
Community Health Professional of the Year
General Practitioner (GP) of the Year
Health Team of the Year
Nurse of Midwife of the Year
Specialist (non-GP) of the Year
Young Professional of the Year

Nominations can be submitted by peers and colleagues, with the Community Health Professional of the Year award open for members of the public to nominate.
