WA Country Health Service Annual Report 2025-26
We are pleased to share our Annual Report 2025-26.
It’s more than just a record of the year that was. It showcases what we have achieved together and highlights the impact we’ve made for communities right across country WA.
Just like in previous years, there’s been a lot to celebrate over the past 12 months.
Our new Strategic Plan 2025-30 was launched in September 2025, setting our sights on the future of the organisation, with new strategic priorities which will guide us toward our vision to be a global leader in rural and remote care.
We’ve welcomed more doctors, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals to country WA than ever before.
We’ve also created more opportunities to support our staff to learn and grow with our first cohort of anaesthetic nurses graduating from the AnaesAssist Academy program, the launch of the Allied Health Transition to P2 Program and WACHS becoming a Registered Training Organisation – just to name a few.
Everyday work has focussed around reducing waits, improving patient flow, expanding services and doing more to keep people well and out of hospital in the first place.
And of course, we have continued to work alongside Aboriginal communities, health partners and local organisations to support the health and wellbeing of country communities.
There’s plenty of additional achievements featured throughout the annual report.
In addition to our achievements, the report provides a transparent account of our financial statements, key performance indicator results and the audit opinion issued by the Auditor General.
We look forward to building on this as we continue our work into 2026-27.
