    Jurien Bay Health Centre undergoing redevelopment 25 August 2017 As part of the Southern Inland Health Initiative administered by the WA Country Heath Service, the Jurien Bay Health Centre is undergoing an expansion and refurbishment. Wheatbelt Regional Director Sean Conlan said that thanks to the Southern Inland Health Initiative’s $300 million capital works project, Jurien Bay Health Centre is just one of many hospital and health centres to be upgraded. “ADCO Constructions won the tender for the works which began in January this year and the project is expected to take around a year to complete,” Mr Conlan said. “A great deal of the redevelopment has already been completed and includes a major extension to the outpatient care facilities including a new child health and outpatient treatment area, a new dental treatment area, roof works and improvements to the access road and additional parking.” Other completed areas of...

    A new dimension to Karratha Health Campus 23 August 2017 Locals have been given a glimpse inside the impressive Karratha Health Campus with the release of new high level floor plans and drone fly-over footage. The 13,000 square metre, 40-bed facility, is being constructed on the corner of Balmoral and Warambie roads in Karratha's town centre, and will replace the ageing Nickol Bay Hospital. The 2D floor plans provide a first look at the general layout of services within the building, which uses spacious courtyards to balance artificial and natural light.
