Midwest graduate programs

The Midwest offers a unique and exciting setting for nurses and midwives to undertake graduate programs.

A range of positions are offered in the Midwest, including in general, theatre, paediatrics, emergency department, perioperative services, high dependency unit, dialysis, mental health and midwifery.

Graduates can spend 12 months at Geraldton Health Campus or Carnarvon Hospital or spend six months at Geraldton Health Campus and then spend six months in some of the Midwest’s rural and remote hospitals – including Exmouth, Kalbarri, Meekatharra, Dongara, Northampton, Morawa and North Midlands. These rural and remote sites offer their own friendly communities and unique and challenging clinical experiences.

Geraldton also offers the opportunity to extend your graduate program by six months to gain experience in speciality areas.
